While I think IU should have got that completion.  It doesn't really matter at all.  IU better get that 16K seat stadium ready for next Saturday because my Buckeyes are going for shut out number 3 in the big "night game".

They won't shut out the hoosiers.

Is Ohio State going to show low class at IU by trashing their campus like they did about 10 years ago?

I knew the U would have their issues in the rain, but damn. It's not like they don't get enough rain in South Florida.

Yeah, that was a really painfull game to watch.
Rain, schmain, VT had to play in the same conditions.  Miami started to believe their own hype.  It looked like the O llne and the entire defense never got off the bus.

That Cal game was the worst display of a team not being prepared I have ever seen I think. It's one thing to lose...it's another to get flat blown out 42-3.

Jeff Tedford...FAIL!

Ahhh, so that was the problem.  Cal got caught looking ahead to USC.  Oops.

I don't get how the coaches poll can have Cal still above Oregon. I mean come on, was there any aspect of the game that they weren't completely thrashed on?

Same with Penn State and Iowa.  Penn State has played absolutely no one other than Iowa and they're still ranked higher.  That is why I think the coaches poll needs to be disclosed so we can see who is voting for who.

All I've got to say is that my Buckeyes are back in the Top Ten! I also want to tell Iowa good luck. I want them to be undefeated when they come to the shoe!

I think a lot of teams are believing th hype. USC has not impressed me at all. Neither has Ohio State. Oklahoma lost their QB for a few games and they're playing like they lost half their team. The only team that has looked like they really want it is Florida  [puke]

Don't take me the wrong way.

I just want to finish undefeated and win the big ten for a trip to the Rose Bowl.  Last thing I want is for the Buckeyes to get thrown to the wolves (i.e. Florida) in another NC game.

While USC might be overrated, but just remember that Barkley, McKight, and Mayes didn't play agianst Washington because our defense creamed them except for 2 drives.  OSU's defense it stout and our defensive line is the best in the country.  We made Juice look like a little pregnant dog.
Offense is still underachieving and I'm not sold on Pryor yet, but the O-line has been playing better and if Pryor keeps the mistakes down (big if) we win the rest of our games.  Would like to play Chokelahoma, Cal, VT, or even Cinnci in a bowl game.

eventhough Penn had a dismal performance Saturday night, I think they will beat OSU in State College.

Penn State had a bunch of problems with Iowa's defensive line getting pressure and OSU's is even better.  By that time hopefully the offense will be clicking.  Don't see Penn State as a problem.  Iowa-yes, Wisconsin- maybe (they like to beat us at home) but not Penn State. Not even going to mention.  Big Blow because they might be the most overated team in the country.

Just found this thread...

Some thoughts from an ex-coach:

PAC-10 suffers from its own relative strength- they beat each other up.

Big-12: No defense. They all play the spread offense which means the defenses never really see a team of blue-chip athletes playing a physical style. Ohio St was on its way to beating Texas in the bowl last before Beanie Wells got injured.

WAC- Boise St is for real.

SEC- probably more talented teams up and down than any other conference.

ACC- Zzzzzzzzzz...

Big East- Coma

Ivy- takes competition seriously.

Petrino at Arkansas and Rodriguez at Michigan cannot lose enough for me.

I have been a SoCal fan since I was a little kid (in the days of black and white TV). They need to keep winning now, and praying for someone to knock off Florida.
Nobody said that I did. Everyone says that I would.
