I'm still try to make sense of this one.  I get that Kiffin was a USC coach but what (other than his dad coaching Defense) does he bring.  He is very unproven and had NCAA violations in his first month of being the Vols coach.  With sanctions on USC pending hiring a guy who seems to not care about getting more really shows what USC is all about. 

I hope they lose scholarships and bowl apparenences for all the crap they've gotten away with.

Buckeyes had 95K last year.  I would guess they get about the same next Saturday.


From what I've been hearing, Pryor has picked up where he left off in the Rose Bowl. 

Alabama should be number 1 going into the season but watch out for the Buckeyes to be number 2. Bama has a lot to replace on D so we'll see if they are as dominate as they were last year.

Anyone have any thoughts on the new bull shit rule where if a player gets flagged for taunting on a TD they're going to take the points away and mark the penalty yards off at the spot of the foul?  I think its a slippery slope and is giving the refs way to much power to change the outcome of the game.

I hadn't heard about that rule, and it sounds like a terrible idea. Something as subjective as "taunting" shouldn't lead to points coming off the board.
