Ducati Parts Numbers

Hi all...

Im sitting here in front of my computer, with my s4 stuck in the garage, cause Brisbane Ducati is taking forever( over two weeks) to order the two small parts I need to get my monster back into its natural habitat. I was just wondering where an easy place to source the Ducati catalog, with the official parts and numbers. Specifically the rear wheel spindle(axle) nut and the tension washer. It cant be that hard to get those parts surely.

It can and does all the time, if you don't have them in stock it usually takes about 4 days to get parts in the US. It's not all too unusual for it to take 2 weeks to a month to get parts though. It isn't your dealers fault as they can't do anything about it. There are a couple places online you can look at the parts i'm sure someone will chime in with it.

I'm just keen as hell to get back on the bike, and since I asked them to actually order the parts last Tuesday, and they only actually ordered then this Monday just gone, with promises for them to be over-nighted from Sydney I am getting somewhat agitated, if you catch my drift... Hence the reason i asked the questions I did.

In my experience, too many links in the chain can lead to a long, messy wait. So I figured if there were alternative ways to procure the parts I need myself, free from the requirement to rely on others, it might solve some problems.

Just have to hurry up and wait I guess....

Thanks to Brad, Ive found the parts/parts number's I need. Now if I can only find a place that'll get me them quickly(not so much worried about the price issue as much as the Im-not-on-my-bike-and-stuck-in-the-cage issue!)
Ducati Catalogue numbers

02 s4

Part 1: 748.1.023.1A (nut that attatches to the rear wheels spindle/axle)

Part 2: 17.374.1.002.1B (plate/washer that goes between aforementioned nut and swingarm)

Funny little side-note. The parts catalogue is for the 02my Monster s4, but mines definately an 03my, go figure. It was the last of the s4's before they switched to the s4r. Maybe that why the dealer Im going through got confused and still hasn't got my bits...

Duc Sea has been around longer and may even have them in stock.
