Brake line help!!

I put a set of cycle cat rearsets on my 99 Monster 900 and since the master cylinder is relocated the rear brake line either hits the swingarm or the brake lever. What brake line do I need to use? Here is a picture of the bike if this helps.

A close up might help.  I don't know if the OEM lines rotate, but I got some custom lines from Cyclebrakes that do.

The rearsets are cyclecats DRS33/43 series,the 43 series was more universal with the monster wether you had high or low monts & came with shorter pegs for more clearance issues. They both work with your machine ,and by doing so the rear master cylinder is relocated as youve noticed to the lower engine case ,just like the SBK's and many others.The master cylinder is the 4776 B series type in black tha has the out port at a 90degree angle to the cylinder,that worked great with the brake line in the stock location. the line at the end of the caliper has a 90 degree angle as well ,the other end at the master is either striaght or slightly angled at 15-25 degrees,youll need to go to a 90 on bothe ends. however for now you migjht try switching the line around and route it struiaght down the swing arm their should be a rea clamp & youll need a front one as well to secure it ,then route it down in front of the swibgarm to the master. the other option is a new line with proper angles and lenght ,another option is the 4776 goldline master with the outlet inline with the body,like the SBK type.Make sure all the adjustments are correct with the linkage to master shes bleed correctly & nothing hangs up. The GioCA.Moto slip on I couldn't help notice ,the rear connecter pipe seems wrong to me,& its hanging a bit low & long..does it strap to the rear peg & come up a bit. later...RS

was just reading the 696 manual and it says to keep the eyelets at 12 deg. +- 2 deg.
maybe check the specs on your bike and see how many degrees you can rotate the end.

but I've got the same rearsets on my 620 and had no issues with the brake lines

post more pics. from your description, it sounds like the brake line touching the swingarm wouldn't be a big deal if its one way (in my mind), but would be problem if its another way. Sooo....take close up pics.

is it just me.... or are your pipes crazy long?

the outlet pipe between the header and the muffler are on opposite sides
the right side is on the left and the left is on the right
and they are upside down

ask me how I know

That's what I was thinking, either that, or from some other bike...
