Nah, The stuff I planned on using I already installed on the bike. I'm trying to sell the rest. The bike needs suspension ya know!  [moto]
Suspension on a 996 is pretty good right out of the box.

There's always room for improvement I suppose. Evil

Agreed. I don't want to get too crazy, just an Ohlins for the rear with the correct spring and have Eric do the Race Tech kit in the front.

I think Tom forgot to mention that he found this beauty on Craigslist...located one town away from him!

Jeez Tom...  from your phone call I had no idea this thing was that purty!

Great find!

Now we just have to get together and go for a ride so you can see it in person.  waytogo

That's a beautiful bike Bud and the deal of the century maybe.  At just over 5000 mi. it's barley broken in by my standards.

I love my Monster, but there's no denying that the superbike of that design, in red is the prettiest, or sexiest or whatever superlative you want put on it ever made.

And my Gawd, you got a million dollars worth of the highest quality extras made.

If you were afraid to ride your old bike, I'm surprised you'll be able to even let that one idle in the garage.

Enjoy! And ride it like you stole it, cause you practically did. waytogo

 Thanks mang!

Yeah, I got a ton of extras with it but I'm selling off most of the carbon. As you mentioned, I would be terrified to ride it with a full set of CF bodywork. It would have defeated the purpose.

I did use some of the extras that came with it though like the headlight bucket, air runners, and rear hugger.

I still have a few of the other things I need to get installed on the bike. I'll post up when she's done.  Grin

Saw this bike in person yesterday ... Pix don't do it justice, one of the - if not the - nicest 9*6's i've ever seen.  Truly museum condition, killer upgrades and mods, and runs flawlessly.

Great bike Tom!

Cheers,
Adam

Just a few more items to go and she'll be all done.

Yeah, right. And if you believe that I have a bridge in San Francisco I'd like to sell you.   cheeky
