Moving next summer from Japan to Quantico/Fredricksburg area

I got orders yesterday to Quantico, Va for next July from here in Okinawa where I have been stationed the last year.  I have a 2006 S4R Final Edition and looking at picking up a Hypermoto S once I get out there.  Since the bike will have been stored for two years, I will need new tires and I'll have the belts changed.  What reputable shops are down in that area...if anyone knows.  I have been riding a Honda XR250R Jap spec Motard here and it wll be nice to be back on the Monster.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I am looking at living near Dale City, Woodbridge, or Independece Hill.

Go to Fairfax, it's about 20% Asian, you'll feel right at home, plenty of korean and japanese markets.

Sadly there are no shops in your area, Coleman's Woodbridge does not have a Ducati Tech last time I checked. From your proposed living area all the Duc dealers with a tech will be a haul. Due to traffic, it will probably be just as easy and a nice ride to go to Duc Pond via backroads than to go up to Battley's, with I-95, Beltway,and I-270 almost a parking lot most of the time. Coleman's Falls Church supposedly has a new tech that knows what he is doing but that is only based on limited experience so far. - Gene

One of our members recently returned from Japan and brought back a Monster 400.   While it's cook, I'd love to have it's brother.   Wonder if you might be interested in facilitating the locating and export of a Japan-spec 1992 or 1993 Ducati 400SS?   Something like this:

The Japan market 400SS was made between 1989 and 1997 actually, with a good number of them going to Australia. 

You will spend a lot of money getting it imported legally -- since no similar model was sold in the USA, you'll have to get it EPA tested and NHTSA tested -- the EPA testing alone can run several grand for a single vehicle. 

And FYI that photo is of a later model, probably a '94 or 95.  The mirrors give it away.
