Guys

Slimy Crud Run is October 4th.  Coming up rapidly!  I rode it this spring and it was pretty fun.  I have a rear tire that is in serious need of replacement and no bucks so attendance is iffy.  Just trying to squeak out short runs here until winter.

If you go directly from Pine Bluff to Leyland, its probably only about 50 miles.  Most people put on miles of extra riding through the vast amount of twisties in that area.  It was 100 miles from home to Pine Bluff and I put on 319 miles - so about 120 miles of messing around trying to get lost.

I hooked up with a small group of guys that said they knew where they were going and I followed them.  I had a rough idea on how to get to Leyland and I didn't think they were heading in that direction.  Suddenly I found myself in Barneveld and Ridgeway so I split off and went to Dodgeville, up 23 and worked back to Leyland from the West.   Interesting ride.   I'm trying to come up with enough bucks to replace my rear tire between now and then so I can ride.  Hope to see you there.

I've got a PP2CT that could get ya through the ride if you want it. Not quite to the wear bars yet.

I'm still hoping to go. This coming weekend I'll be putting on 1000 or so miles so we'll see.

Appreciate the offer!  I think I can pull off purchasing the new tire so hopefully I'll see you there.

I'll be there weather permitting.  I will be on my sport 1000S though, not the monster.

Well - did any of us make it to the Ride?  I've been having some bloodsugar issues and was too screwed up to ride.   Angry

I didn't. Some day tho.
I think I'm going riding Saturday weather be damned. Maybe not a lot but probably my last distance ride of the year.

Make sure you dress warm, they say the out lying ares of milwaukee may get into the low 30's at night. I am not ready for this yet. I have not been able to ride since the 1st weekend of September. I hate Wisconsin
