For some time i had a 848 fender on my M900S
I didn't like it because the gap between tyre and fender was to big

I found the easy fix (and for free
Just flip the brackets form up to down en from left to right
Fender is about half an inch down

my god those are bad ass brakes. looks like stock lines? still bad ass rotors and calipers though.

supertjeduc

No the lines are not stock (two separate lines)

Oh, very cool. Saw the color scheme as the same as stock, so I wasn't sure. Beringer brakes?

Good fix. It is interesting though about the gap. I put a stock 848 front fender on and the gap was about the  same as the monster. Maybe its just the carbon. Looks good either way.

I've got a 1098 fender on my 620.  Used to have a 748 fender on it.  The brackets on my bike are straight.  There is no difference in flipping them.  the bolt hole is in line with the strap part that goes around the fork bottom.  Interesting.  I agree that yours looks better with your bracket type flipped.   [thumbsup]

IIRC, the white plastic fender mounts have no rise to them, and the black ones are about 1/4" either up or down as the OP indicated.

Interesting. So what are the clamps with the rise from? I never knew they existed, and I wish that I had them. The slicks that I race with grow at speed so the front fender has a hole burned into it from the tire. Part # on those clamps anyone?

My forks ('99 Showas) don't have any such tabs you guys speak of. Can somebody who has their fender off take a quick pic and show me what you are talking about?

I'm guessing here, but on my '05 620, the OEM front tire was a 60 series profile and had the white rings with no rise on them.  I know some, if not all, of the bigger bikes come with a 70 series tire and would then need the rise on them to help clear the tire--or at least it'd provide an additional margin of safety.
