Sorry, another story if it was Pro-Engineer.

I understand what you are trying to do but I do not know Invenntor at all, this is a standard function on any 3D modelling software, you can send me the 3D model file to me as an IGES or Step file and I'll do it in Pro-E if you have no luck.

Dock ,
I'm using  Autodesk inventor 10 at the moment, and I too have the same problem with 3D drawings in my year 10 Tech class. I get the same question from the students ALL the time after doing fillets
I'll ask a couple of other guys here to see if they can shed some light.
I'd be keen to find out.
might have a bit of a play.

I asked a couple of others at work who know the program better than me and they said that they never had any reason to delete the lines which show a change in a pacticular plane.
I'm still playing though!

Worked it out. Once you create a idw you have the option to turn the Tangent edges of in the Display option tab available after you right click on the image border and select edit View

Perfect, I knew it had to be there somewhere.
It's funny because in Solid Edge and Pro-E that is the default display setting of not showing the tangent and display lines.
