StopInTime,  I thought you put Brembo Goldlines on your bike from a S2R1000.  Am I right or am I confused?

Since the pictures were taken this spring I have added some small mods - hockey tape on forks, TechSpec Tank Grips, ForMotion thermometer, raised the rear 10mm and new brakes waytogo

Stopintime! Congratulations! Great Monster, great pics!!!  waytogo  waytogo  waytogo

Congrats!!  Inspiration for my own 07 S2R800!

I do have a question, your throttle cam(?) what's the story with that?  Billet?  75% turn?  Looks trick!  My goal, my quest, is to replace as much of the grey/black plastic as I can.

laughingdp Yes, and you're the one who brought the DML/DMF to my attention, which has cost me about $10k. It has also doubled the value of ownership, so I guess I should thank you anyhow waytogo

I like the look but I'm not sure about the 75% turn part?  How does that affect the drivability on the street?  Sounds like it would make it more twitchy?  I notice you also have the 14t front sprocket, do they sort of cancel each other out?   Wink

Twitchy? I see it as more responsive [moto] True enough, I need to be more aware of what my right hand is doing.

With the limited power of the 800, full throttle is a frequent exercise. When applying full throttle I found that I had to change the grip (raised elbow) before application to avoid an over-rotated wrist (at full throttle). That is not an issue anymore.

My grip/bar input is more relaxed and correct as a result. My arm and wrist doesn't move around as much. I like that.

If you're interested and can afford it - get one and try it?

Electraeon's site is a little wonky on my computer. (I can't read it easily because of the font used). Can you tell me what version of the cam you have on your S2R? Type 1 or Type 2?
