"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

I knew Jim  and considered him a good friend. His first wife, Susan, and my wife were bff''s in high school back in the "70's". Jim was about the only other person I knew who rode a m/c when I began riding way back then. I was shocked when I heard this news and am very saddened by it. It's been a while since Jim and I had taken a ride together, We fell out of touch as I started riding sporty bikes and he liked Harleys. But we'd run into each other now and then up on Greenhorn. Even though I haven't seen him in a few years I'm going to miss him.

Godspeed Jim and Deb, rest well.
