Hey,

I lost all my keys to me Ducati Monster 620. Does anyone have a matching ECU, lockset and gauge combo I can buy?   Otherwise, I heard talk about reflashing the ECU to unmmate the guages, lockset etc.. How does one do this?

Thanks,

Ryan

see your dealer. is there a code card with the 620?

There is code card, but I called the dealer and code card is worthless unless you have the red key...Its very stupid.

well apparently there is a way, according to someone on here, that knows how to get around the red key issue.

i'd do a search for red key and keep reading. find out who it is and email him. cause everything i had seen before he said that... you're out of luck... but who knows.

p.m. Monstermash, or get in contact with Tom at ducatidepot.com for reflashed ecu options. Both of them can disable your immobilizer so that you don't have to worry about it any more. Monstermash requires you to send your ecu to him, Tom at ducatidepot.com will send you a new ecu that has been reprogrammed already. Depending on what you want and how much you want to spend, you can choose either. I use the ducatidepot ecu because I wanted to keep my stock ecu as a backup. It cost me $450 to get a new ecu that had been flashed with ducati performance software, and also had the immobilizer removed. I think monstermash charges $250 for immobilizer removal. You will have to ask him yourself though as I am not positive on the cost.
07 monster 695, tail chop, custom flashed dp ecu (no more immobilizer!!) high mount marving megaphones, pod filters and an Acewell 4000 gauge set

meaning no offense to the OP, but how do these guys tell the bike isn't stolen before providing these services?

If you can see Chuck Norris, he can see you.  If you can't see Chuck Norris, you may be only seconds away from death.

I suppose they cant tell if the bike is stolen or not. There are quite a few options out there now for "racing" engine controls that do not incorporate any kind of immobilizer. I think that the majority of people looking into these options are doing so due to the unreliability of the original equipment installed on the bike (such was my case) or in search of more tuning ability and power output.

I actually was only given the red key when I bought the bike..Didnt realize its importance until it was too late. Anyway, I appreciate all of the tips and I am currently contacting the Ducatidepot and monstermash. Will let you guys know how it goes. And if there are any other tips, please keep posting.

Best,

Ryan

I bought my '02 620 used with only a single solitary black key which i finally lost last night.
All I have is the card and a Monster-shaped sculpture in my garage.

monster620rmb: what did you end up doing?
