This Sunday, rich folks from all across the east bay will polish off their 4 wheeled trailer queens to let the hoi palloi breathe on them.  But, also in attendance will be Ducati, offering up test rides.  That new Hyper 796 would be fun to test, but I'm sure they're still in a thousand pieces in Bologna.  Still, it's all free.

Plus, Jimbo lives nearby, and surely he'd want to host a Sunday afternoon bbq or something...

Let me check my calander.

But for "Nico's" birthday party, it's clear.
If anyone wants to bop over to the Perry Compound, take a jump in the Members-and Invited Guests Only" Del Amigo pool, no doubt getting us removed from the auto-renewal-of-membership list, feel free.
ECV Jr. will be on hand and will prowedly show you his newly added name on the "Pool Records" board.  Then he'll tell you how to swim faster.  Really.
Open containers are always welcome but no glass.  Jimbo-ritas in a camleback anyone?

That sounds like fun. Do  you know what bikes Ducati will be bringing? I don't wanna ride (or look at) any Hypers but I'd really really really like to ride the 848. Really.

so what's the plan, stan?

is there a location/time that MOBsters are gonna congregate?

If anyone want's to meet up, pm me.  I can look at cool cars and people watch anytime you like, just give me 5 minute warning.  Plus I know where all the good places to grab a beer are.

Yeah, it was pretty sweet.  Frick'n hot but sweet.  Like I said to John, some things, like guitars and cars, supermodels, you don't have to know much about to appreciate perfection.
Good times!

ACE Motorsports has an 848 with Termis it keeps as a demo.. I just showed up, signed my life away, and rode it.

Yeah, I could probably rustle up a test ride. I just don't want to waste a salesperson's time until I'm ready to pull the trigger. It's no biggie. But I was a bit disappointed when I showed up and there was nothing but Hypers. The ad seemed to mention that superbikes would be available but they were not. :-(

Really wasn't a big deal.. Meltz and I rode the SF and the 848 and then traded off. Didn't get any sales pitches..
