i was playing quite a bit with my new honda S2000cr but then got the riding fever again as the weather really warmed up. so i decided to spend a couple paychecks to finalize my bike (i had previously just done the mirrors, supsension, and exhaust). on a previous post, i put up the bike with my new levers, etc...

these are my new pics. i just got back from the shop with my new fuel tank (under warranty from ducati) and my new samco "blaze" radiator hoses. a luimoto "flame" seat cover and bst wheels finalize my project. "is it worth it?" always comes up with mods: IMO no! but who cares  [evil]

Nice ride. [thumbsup]

But "finalize"? As in "it's done"? I call bullshit. ;)

Love the wheels, too bad I'd have to sell the bike to afford a pair of my own.
Every bike I've ever owned.

Well, except for the flames, real p-u-r-t-y.

+1. Flames aren't for me, different strokes and all that. I drool in the general direction of your wheels. And forks, but more so your wheels.

oh yea, I really hesitated on making the plunge into flame seats and flame radiator hoses. I wouldn't know how it would look until it was too late, so to speak.

I've always thought the monster looked too bulbous and too stretched out. A look made obvious dated since the release of the streetfighter. But it's also a classic look and I really love the practical nature of what may be the perfect bike, as far as power, fun, and practicality goes. So I wanted to keep it and so goes the mods.

I'm sort of glad for the gvt that I am likely to never see another duc with flames :) while getting a little thrill whenever I see the perfection of this aptly named "monster".

I think I need to adjust my forks or perhaps try less psi to adjust for the lighter bike? I'll post up an update after I see my suspension guru

Beauty.... I like how you mention the BSTs almost like an afterthought [thumbsup]

this might sound strange, since  you have a nice CF front fender... but i really think painting that fender a matching red would pull this bike all together... give it a thought.

edit:
even further, what a bout a red chain to tie in the rear  [thumbsup]

I like the fender paint, I've been talking to Nate about doing a similar design (exposed bracket area) on my carbon front fender I have in the garage, awaiting installation.

But those red side panels & beer tray got to go.

It does look great, especially with sprocket nuts.   So well put together.

That's the first windscreen (if you could call it that) on a monster.
