The RSV4 is a serious motorcycle. Considering that you could buy somewhere around 4.5 of em for what you can get one V4 Ducati for, it's a hell of a good deal.

I'm guessing Ducati could sell a more pedestrian "street" variant of it's Desmosedici for much less than $72,000 after having made so many now.

Look at the 1198S as compared to the 1098R's that peeps paid $43,000 for.

The Aprilia looks like one hell of a good bike to me.

16K for that?  Shit...I may just have to figure out how to buy a brand new bike then....I thought they were in the 25K range?

I need to find an Aprilia dealer and have a sit on one. I hear they're tiny, and I'm a big guy.

Then again, when I test-rode the 996 I bought my comment was "It's surprisingly spacious." [laugh]
"If it weren't for our gallows humor, we'd have nothing to hang our hopes on."

This bike is going to cause Ducati some serious headaches.

I love the wheels, I like the swingarm and I love the Agip stickers (why doesn't Ducati do that anymore!??).

Looks awesome   [evil]

After 7 years of Monsters, I'm sadly bikeless right now.

The bike is indeed small, BUT the ergos are very similar to the RSVR (within a few mms). I'm 6-2 and my mille R is comfortable on 300 mile days. So we have a small package that is comfortable for average and above average height riders. I have Ducati lust, but the
RSV4 looks like a winner.

Ducati uses Shell stickers.

Looks alright in white but IMO the 1098/1198 is a better looking bike.
