Hey DMF'ers! (ok...that has a negative ring to it, eh?)

We need your help:  Please spend some time today going through old emails and other ways of communication and try to contact as many Monster riders you may know as possible and let them know of the new board.  We tried to notify as many people as possible but we're not sure of what's going on now over there...

Being discrete is not going to be hard when no one can access the DML because the home page reads:

www.ducatimonster.org

9:00 am (EST)

DucatiMonster is currently down for site upgrades. We should be up in approximately 6-6 hours.
We will provide an update at around noon (EST). Here are some of the new features you can expect to see:

* A brand new look
* An all new home page
* DucatiMonster Ride of the Month contest
* and more!

Thanks for your support!

I just noticed that I can't access the other board due to upgrades.  I've already gone on record as being ready to bail out of that one as soon as it changed enough to be unrecognizable.  Looks like I was invited here just in time. Wink

If it has truly been screwed up, I'll go find that old message and post a followup with a goodbye message in it.

Often good things are spoiled by success, and we might be witnessing another example of that.  There are quite a few other web sites that I have abandoned when they got a bit too commercial and forgot what made them successful in the first place.

Thanks, guys, for creating a good alternative here.

I'll second that! And thanks for showing me the way here DP.  be:: (I believe I still owe you a beer anyway) forget the hookers though   Wink

What brought me to this group originally was the fact that it was a huge wealth of knowledge for all things Monster. I was really missing that on the DML and I hope we can bring that back here.

Not yet...the OB went down sooner than expected.

I hop one of his Aussie compatriots will do it before the OB comes back.

just sent an email to him by way of his site with an invite.  Love to see him make an appearance.

also sent word to Mist Hurst who instructs for CSS and input a lot into riding techniques.
