KTM models for 2010

KTM models for 2010.  News of these bikes has been out for at least a year, but they are just now being confirmed coming to the U.S. as 2010 models this fall.

I generally find KTM's bikes to be too angular for my tastes, but I may be warming up to their style.  If I wanted an all purpose bike this could be it.  Throw some bags on it and head out for the weekend.

Glad to see that they are bringing the 990 SMT this way, but I REALLY wish they would bring back the 690 Supermoto.

The SMT is a hot bike, i'd definitely get one if i had the $$$ for an all purpose
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Holy shit, that is an ugly bike.  It is so ugly it may be attractive in some strange way which is foreign to me.  If they aren't bringing it over this year maybe it is to clear out last year's inventory.  That is what happened to the Super Duke for 2009.

They get less ugly after you ride one.

I hated the 950sm until I demo'd one.  It was the most fun I've ever had on a bike.

I ended up getting a 950SMR 2 years later, and it's awesome.  I got the 690sm windscreen on it, and $500 into a bag/rack system and I can go anywhere that's paved.  Make no mistake, these aren't dirt bikes at all, but they crush on the street.

I've seen 690 Duke in person and sat on it.  It definitely felt lighter than any other street bike I've sat on.  I thought it looked attractive in white.

i would prefer the 640, but will take a 900 if anyone wants to give it to me  ;D
