So some of you may be aware that the my wife and I are in the departure lounge for child #2, just awaiting takeoff! And just like with Nemo (working title of #1, named by bigiain @ Mecca), we have decided not to find out the sex of Dory (working title of #2)

This makes me think back to around 2 years ago, where my darling wife and I had a little discussion regarding the preferred two wheeled transport of our imminent child. We'd been tipped off to check out the Peg Perego  electric kiddy bikes, and noted that there were two available of interest - a Vespa GT200 (my wife's preferences 2 wheel transport) and a Ducati Monster. The decision was made: if we have a boy, it will be a monster, and if it's a girl, a vespa it is...

And this is my sole justification for buying as much kiddie ducati wear as possible! Now I am faced with a new dilemma, if we have a girl, we'll need to "Vespa up", and let me tell you, for an iconic brand, they don't have their shit together in the merch dept!

So it's been a while since we've had a silly poll, and for this one, Im going to be indulgent and make it a tipping comp for #2! Feel free to vote, or not to.... if you do, I'm sure my wife will get a kick out of it - her due date is tomorrow, and she's really over carrying around a watermelon!

If you and Nemo are riding around on Monsters, then I'll vote Vespa.

Then Mum has someone to ride with Grin

Yep I've voted Vespa as well (nearly typed Lambretta after reading that last post) ... which means win or lose you can't be disappointed Wink

In terms of Vespa paraphenalia it seems pretty easy to come by in the tourist areas of Italy ... but it is mostly for the big kids. You should try getting Lambretta stuff Roll Eyes

After an almost accidental purchase of a Vespa Julie's brudda has been given quite a few Vespa t-shirts as gifts. I think it is a little frustrating as he is definitely a Lammie man ... he has one Vespa and depending on your interpretation 3, 4 or 5 Lambrettas. But it has just been so much easier for people to get Vespa stuff.

Best wishes to Bronnie for a smooth delivery.

Having seen you guys recently for a mini Wii party (I'm buying one)
The vote has to go to Vespa cause I know how Broni feels about them.
It's always nice to have a complimentary pair but then if Dory becomes a boy it may just have to be a pair of Monsters.

Can I vote 1 for each...after all I do have a Vespa lying around here somewhere...poor thing rarely gets a workout with the Monster in the stable.

All the best for mum too!

Goldie, I'll join the Vespa majority. Have the 'pigeon pair' myself, only Vespa first, Ducati second.

Dragon - I found the threes worse than the twos - maybe mine just took their time  Grin

Best wirshes for Bronie. You do know that statistically, the due date the least likely birth date??
