                            Monsterous Arrival 2009

Nothing like a big 'ole line of monsters heading to La Ducati Day in La Honda.   We'll arrive in force at noon.  If you've ridden with us the last few years, you know it's a blast.

PACE:  THIS WILL BE AT PARADE LAP PACE.  This is NOT a group ride pace.  We're going to stay near the speed limit.  With a large group and a lot of unknown riders and with lots of LEOs out there, we're just trying to keep it safe and to keep a large group together.  The point is to get from A to B safely, not to get your twisties fix for the day.  Do your "normal" ride before or after.

Below are the meet-up spots.  If others want to arrange other meet-up points to head to Alice's PM me or post up.  We'll see you at Alice's and then at LDD.

ALICE's MEET-UP:  Arrive at Alice's at 11:15.  Leave Alice's (35 & 84) at 11:45 for LDD.  That'll get us to LDD around noon.  waytogo  Map to Alice's

SF Pre-Meet.  A group will be leaving from Zeitgeist in SF.  Meet at 10:00ish.  Kickstands up at 10:30.  Make sure you are gased up.  We will leave your ass behind if you're later than 10:30.  Map.

South Bay Pre-Meet.  76 Station in Saratoga.    Kickstands up at 10:45.  Map.

P.S.  Bring your friends, non-Monster or non-Ducs.   We don't care.  'course I can't guarantee we won't stick your ass in the back of the line.   Grin

If you have a relationship with a shop, dealer or moto-friendly location, please spread the word.  Let's get as many monsters out there are possible.

I'm down.  I can do either Alice's or Saratoga.

I did this ride in reverse twice last week.  Smiley

Out, unless I can get a rear wiring sub-harness for a 916 mono by then.

Anyone a regular on SBR?  If so, can you post up a link to this thread or the info?

anybody doing one in the East Bay?
i'm in, but don't know at what time due to a conflict earlier in the morning.

last year, there was a pre-meet at the Starbuck's in the Hacienda Crossing shopping center in Dublin at the Hacienda exit off I-580.
i could probably get there by 10:30, but don't know if that's too late.
