Lisa's 620 is tricked out.  This one is stock.  I say pass, or lowball him on price.

True, but the Oklahoma bike is a year newer and has fewer miles (mine's got 28,000  Evil ).  And it's still got the tail  Shocked

Still, low-ball is never a bad idea on a used bike.  He can only say no.

You can ride my 620 anytime.  Seriously.

I might take you up on that. I've seen quite a few floating around the web. Doesn't hurt to have options. Maybe this coming weekend or something.

The M620 could possibly be the best bike that Ducati produced, IMHO

how about this, since we appear to be building a new ss crew on the board?

don't be jealous of the elephant!!  and that guy has been trying to sell that bike for a while now, btw.  i'm thinking he could be talked down quite a ways, unless that thing has been meticulously restored by AMS or something, which is hasn't.  though i remember seeing a previous listing of the bike saying it was owned by an experienced ducati mechanic... /shrug

Word with what Lisa said earlier, and Bryant too.  I loved my monster.  I loved it so much I rode it until it died.  laughingdp bang head [moto]

Honestly, out of owning an M620, a 749s, and a 996, the M620 was by far the most fun, and the most customizable bike to have.  And it is way more comfortable than you might think it is, esp. if you put a set of nice handlebars on it.  The monster is a bike you literally can take and make it ALL your own, and still never look exactly like anyone else's.  Example:  Lisa's (then Scott's, now Lisa's again) 620.  You can just trick the HELL out of those bikes.  So much fun, and the cool little odds and ends you can find for it to bling it up a little bit just never stops coming.

I say go with the 620.  Just like Svoloch said, lowball the guy, the worst he can do is say no.

but if you do get a 620, get some nice clipons and cafe it out....  Lisa's look's awesome, but she is about to butcher it back to comfortable Wink  Of course, even afterward, it will still be a killer bike.  Very fun to ride, and the powerband is deceptive, especially with a great set of pipes on it.

Still, I'm liking the SC1000s, don't know why they are going for so cheap, but i'd take advantage of it.  The dual spark air cooled 1000s are very fun, and the look of the SCs is all cafe....

If you talk to DucStew of FlightCycles out in Cali, he's done a few actual wet to dry clutch conversions.  Not to be confused with the "Tamburini" swap

I'm aware. Just sighing in general. Sat on William's S2R yesterday. Sounded soooo pretty.
