The first link isn't to the Evo SP Hyper. It's to an older M1000 that the guy wants too much for it. The guy selling the Evo doesn't post any pic nor does he say what he wants for it. Boo. The BMW guy can't/won't tell you exactly what he wants for it and no pictures. A 696, well ........... it's not even on the site anymore. Of course lots of folks will have a field day with my post when I put the 848 up. I'm thinking, "why bother", considering the investment already spent and even the upcoming service but you never know..........

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori. Good people drink good beer. Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.
It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level. Everything else is just fluff.

I am seriously considering it. I have yet to figure out an asking price but I reckon it will be flexible depending on how many mods the buyer would like to retain. The overriding factor is that the price can't go too low. My friend with the Hyper S doesn't want to sell it for the average going price so that's out. The 848 + goodies would have to sell high enough to be able to move to a Streetfighter without incurring extra expense. Therein lies the rub. I wouldn't mind holding onto the 848 but I have some arthritis that's starting to show up and it affects the comfort a bit. Soooo we'll see. I can always post up on CL and see what happens.

I'd be very happy with a good used Streetfigher so a new one isn't the main plan. I'm going to ask 15K/offer for the 848 and then wait.

Here's hoping you'll get some positive action...according to Bill at SSD, they have a waiting list for 848s...

Something didn't work.... The ad was all set and I plugged in a special security code from CL -- poof! Ad all gone I'll try again tonight. Who knows, maybe the timing is right or maybe not?

Maybe you can talk to the "other" SF owner whom we know for sure had it for sale a while ago? At least you know it is not punished at all If we have the monthly cruise...

I think that was fate's way of saying that I'm a dumb ass. It should be working now and, hopefully, with photos that pop right up in the ad without having to click on them. The editing hasn't kicked in yet but maybe by the time anyone reads this it will. http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/mcy/2104985859.html
