I received the new adapters from Jeff in short order and will be bolting them up soon. I'm glad to hear others are happy with the set. I will put in my two cents as soon as I can.

Here is the installation. You can see the difference in the location of my knees from stock to lowering kit. I recommend using a punch to drive out the retaining pin as well as to align the new adapter holes when you go to stick the pin back in. You have to fight the spring a little bit and the punch will help keep it from flying into your face.

As for the ride report, I dunno, it was good. Better than stock.

why would you need them with cyclecat rearsets?  You can already adjust those down and back.

It is the 30 mm kit. You can get 23 mm or 30 mm. With the other one that I originally posted about from wild hair they have those two plus one thats like 3 inches or something like that. I might get that for my passenger pegs if it will clear the exhaust and all.

50 mm = 2 inches. Probably too much for the riders position, but OK for the passenger. Although, it will stick out that far when/if folded up?

BTW The drop of your knees and the opening of the angle is remarkable. It must feel better. [thumbsup]

cowboy, the cyclecats are already in the lowest position, but since i am not scraping any hard bits, my knees would appreciate the extra inch,  i am ordering desmotimes lowering plates when they are available.  I think before cyclecat went out of business, they had footpegs adjusters for the rearsets but when i went to order, no cyclecat.com.

Fair enough.

I bought a pair from Monsterparts that didn't work out for me.   Anyone that wants to give these a try I'll sell the pair for 100 shipped.

Which size did you order?  What didn't work?

I wear a size 10 and didn't like the loss of feel and reach to the shifter and rear brake pedal.  If my foot was a 1/2" longer or if I was willing to tinker with the shift lever length and distance I could have made them work.  The product itself is well made and sturdy.  They fit perfectly on my S2R.

They come with the black racing pegs and the 30mm lever.

I put my pegs, that I received from Cowboy.  I love them!   They have almost as much give as the stock.  I was able to shift without issue.  It just takes a little time to get used to since my boot sit a little lower.
