Poor Nog.  Sick after seeing that the first time let alone 5 replays!

I was actually rooting for Machita after that first round. That was another bad ending.  I would to see him destroy Silva though if that fight ever happens.

My Son #1 (my "Sons" are guys I have mentored through the years)  is getting into UFC and has had a couple of fights - three weeks ago Brock Lessner and his manager came in to work out with him and give him a review.  Pretty exciting - we'll see what happens!

In his last fight, he was supposed to be cannon fodder for some ranked guy, instead in 42 seconds, the guy had a dislocated hip and a concussion.

Nog took it surprisingly well. No screaming, barely a wince, and he waited until after it broke before he tapped.

That said, it was still not pleasant to watch. Especially the way the arm just lay there after Mir got up.

I think the fact that he followed up the "I got poked in the eye." comment with "...with a fist." made it sound less like pregnant doging about dirty fighting or anything along those lines and more like him just saying "I couldn't see. Cause he hit me and I forgot to blink."

Also, second funniest line of the night.

First, of course, being Brock Lesnar announcing his retirement. 

But yeah, that shoutout was awkward.
