I've listened to him and a few other friends geek out over it on several occasions.

;D

BWAHAHAHAHAH!!!  Yeah, I am a fightnerd more than I'd like to admit, but it's fun.

Rumor has it that Jackson will turn down the UFC 98 fight with Rashad Evans...this is developing, but Evans is now looking to Machida.

Pretty much what I thought would happen.  It would be extremely difficult for Rampage to not only go back to England and train but to be ready for another fight in less than 2 months.  It would be nice to see a rubber match between him and Griffin in June because that card is somewhat shakey.  Let the winner of that take on the winner of Evans/Machida.  I'm sure they'll just give Rampage the winner though.

Looks like it will be Evans/Machida  I'm excited about this one.

I'm still hoping for a Jackson/Griffin rematch at UFC 100.

I just read that Jackson has to have jaw surgery for torn tendons.

I would prefer to see Griffin fight Brandon Vera; Vera needs to be tossed into the deep end of the LHW Division.

That was an unfortunate turn of events, for sure.  If you don't know the story of the Tapout guys, or their company, it is a pretty interesting one.  They basically started out selling t-shirts at events...and the guy dies in his Ferrari.  They catapulted into a huge enterprise.

New TUF isn't wasting any time getting into these fights!!

Looks like it might be a good season!!  US vs. UK

Have to wait until next week though to start making predictions on which country will win.

Some of the Brits are impressive, but I'm not sure if that was because they were facing bad opponents. The US team should be able to field a solid group of guys.

I agree, I watched the first couple of episodes from last season and while some of the guys were not polished they all seemed way better than most of the english guys.  The one dude who got a knockout looked like he had absolutley no strength behind his punches.  The only reason he got a TKO was because the other guy wasn't defending himself.  Don't get me wrong a couple of the guys looked good and really looked to have good jitz.  Can't wait to see what America can bring to the table.

From the preview, it looks like the americans are a bunch of douchebags. Why do you have to cut weight when you know that you'll be fighting on the first day. You have to come jacked up and ready to roll.

I missed the premier, but I have to say I'm not too excited about this season. It seems a little like there running out of ideas or just trying something different. I could give a shit about US vs. UK, cuz at the end of the day it's not a team sport. That's one reason why I love UFC so much.

some Dana White press

http://msn.foxsports.com/boxing/story/9407680/UFC-boss-curses-out-female-reporter-in-tirade?MSNHPHMA

UFC president Dana White went on a profanity-laced tirade and used an anti-gay slur while rebutting an online story by a female reporter that was unflattering to his organization.
