^^I get it, he's really not but Mousasi looks like a machine.  Reminds me of Silva and Machida in his awarness and manuvering.

What's with Franklin and these 195lbs fights?  I'm interested to see how he does against Belfort, but c'mon... if 205 is so deep, throw these guys into 205 and see if they can swim.

With Swick off the card, this one is looking as thin as the last one.  Dunno about paying to see Kos manhandle Trigg and Cro-Cop continue his slide...

Yeah.... I think I'm gonna take a pass on this one. I'd like to watch Franklin, but his chins been questionable in the past. Belfort has been known to have heavy hands. I think this could be a disappointing fight.

You'd think since this fight is going head to head with boxing that White would put on a massive card to try for the KO. Guess he's not really that confident of getting the viewers. Well he's not getting me, but it's not cause I'll be watch the boxing, he just put out to weak of a card to make it worth the price.

Anyone catch TUF last night?  I was surprised by how much Kimbo was not talking shit.  If that guy is serious and trains hard he could be good (not great).  His chin is still in question in my book (see Petruzelli).

Rampage is a serious idiot.  Rashad seems like he is going to actually be a coach instead of a friend like Rampage.

I think this is half the reason they brought Rampage back on as a coach, he's a character. Your right though, Rashad will actually coach. We'll see about Kimbo though. He can't be any worse than the two guys who fought in the first episode.
How about the fight night before the premier. Pretty decent showing all around I would say.

Kimbo: Other then him saying, "I'm already street certified..."  Roll Eyes he should be interesting. I don't see him making it to the finals though.
Rambage: He's interesting but in the end..just a piece of shit. Anyone that leads the popo on a high speed chase, hits a pregnant woman's car, causing her to lose the baby, ought to be in jail.
Rashad: "How many times have I lost"? (while trash talking with Rampage) Uhh, once but Rampage has 37 fights to your 15. And he fought better opponets.

Q is a knob, but he's the only reason to watch this season.  Everything that comes out of his mouth is pure art.  He had about five quoteable lines already, and it's only the first show.  I agree that if you or I had done the shit that he did, we'd be in jail or dead by the roadside - the LAPD that stopped him must have been a fan.

Kimbo's hands don't suck, and he was training with high-level comp at Bas Rutten's shop... so if he's cured some of his ground issues he may be able to last a couple rounds.  I'd have liked his potential to improve a lot more if he'd have wound up with Rashad - anyone working with Greg Jackson has to get better (that came down from the mountain on that third tablet Moses dropped...).  As it stands now, I could see him getting smothered by one of the monster NFL guys and getting ground'n'pounded off the island.

////looks like I'm gonna nut up and go to the bar to take in tonights 'meh' card after all... hopefully there's extra bacon bits on my taterskins to make up for the lack of star power on the PPV.

As far as Kimbo is concerned, a lot of the guys on TUF don't have a lot of experience. His main fault was to be over hyped before he got a chance to builld real experience. If he applies himself I don't see why he shouldn't be able to pick it up in time just as anyone else would. He's already shown a great deal of humility in taking the beating from Seth and the lashing from DW. Then being a big enough man to set aside his pride and ask for a chance from the very man who referred to him as a chump 11ty billion times.

I think he's got such a huge target on him, I think he's going to get beat down. I hope he does well, I hope he keeps trying. He seems like a chill dude so far.

I didn't really know anything about Belfort until I saw the countdown show. Doesn't look like he's lost much in his absence/age and now adding karate to his arsenal. Who will he fight next?

Anderson Silva at 185. Could be a really interesting fight if it comes together... The Franklin fight didn't really show it, but Belfort's supposed to have pro-caliber boxing and movement.  Silva might actually have to use his full skillset and trade shots to win, instead of dancing away from another over-matched lout like he did in the Griffin fight.

I just saw Silva's name come up on another board. That would be a good one!

It could happen but Hendo is getting the shot first.  I think either Hendo or Belfort has the best chance at beating Silva. It at least keeps him at 185 and interested for another year.  Will probably move up after that but won't fight Machida which would be the dream matchup.

On a side note I want to see Silva fight Fedor.  From what I've heard, Silva walks around at 220 or a little more and cuts that much weight for each fight.  With Fedor only being about 20lbs heavier than a still in shape Silva, Silva would have his way with Fedor.
