I agree that Saturday's PPV wasn't the best. I did enjoy the GSP/Hardy match though.

This next one looks like it could be really good.

just glad Diaz won again. I like him at welter weight and eventually middle weight.

I felt pretty bad for Drwal.  Other than that, not much excitement.

It seems like every time they host somewhere on the East Coast, the card is very wrestling-heavy (granted, Fitch is from Indiana, but still...).  The wrestlers are very effective at neutralizing striking with takedowns and smothering guard game, but watching a two-hour card of palm-forehead-to-short-elbow techniques just doesn't do it for me.

112 looks somewhat thin as well... Silva-Maia has potential and Penn-Edgar looks like fireworks, but the rest of the card doesn't do much for me.

I heard Palhares was suspended for a while for that shit, holding on 5 secs longer than needed was lame.

Being from the dirty Jerz I was pretty happy that all of the hometown boys won.  It was pretty heavy on the wrestling, but I enjoy that.  Watching GSP was pretty entertaining.  He put on a takedown clinic and dominated Hardy.  A KO would have been fun to watch, but he man handled Hardy and was hands and feet above him in strengh and skill.

Pellegrino not getting choked out (with one arm in a body triangle!!!)... HOLY SHIT!  That boy's got some fight in him.

As much as I would love to see Edgar win, I think BJ is on another level.  A friend of mine was rolling around with him over the summer and Edgar felt the same way...

when Lesnar was in the octagon he towered over Carwin.
That really pissed me off. Now they're tring to turn this into some WWF bullshit. There was no reason for Lesner to get into the octagon. Everyone knew Carwin was gonna fight him. They didnt need to 'build the hype'

If GSP had the killer instinct he would have just broken his arm.

What was worse is that Hardy was taunting him after he let him go. you dont taunt the person that is man-handling you throughout an entire fight and just spared your arm so you could fight another day, you just don't. I tip my hat to GSP, but Hardy needs to learn some etiquette.

Guess nobody is left for GSP, gotta move him up!

They always do that when there is an interim belt and why wouldn't Dana try to hype this fight as much as possible?

Hardy is just like all the British fighters (see Bisbing) way to cocky and one sided.  Like you said GSP just spared your arm and now your going to showboat?  Seems like Hardy could use a little take down defence.

GSP was saying in the lead up shows that this was the biggest cut of his career which I take as he's trying to put on actual muscle to move up to fight Anderson Silva.

Ultimate Fighter? make the beast with two backs yeah! Holy make the beast with two backs. Best fights I've seen in many seasons. It's been a long time since I've been so fired up.

Didn't watch ultimate fighter yet but the fights before weren't bad.

At some point soon Big Country is going to have get a shot at better fighters.  As much as I hate to admit it, that guy is really good.  Very techincal and we haven't even seen his biggest skill, Jitz.  He knocked that big dude out quick!

Dana White-

I don't think I have ever disliked a fighter more than Big Country. The fact that he keeps winning is just making it worse.

I'm with you dude.  We can only hope that he keeps winning and they throw him to Carwin/Cain/Lesnar and he gets beat the make the beast with two backs up.  It's cool to act cocky against guys you should beat but talk smack to Lesnar or Carwin and you're going to get hurt.  Just ask Frank Mir.

I'm pretty sure that the afro guy washed out of BET's MMA show, "Iron Ring."  If his nickname is "The Disciple" or "The Apostle," it's the same guy.  I'm thinking that if he couldn't succeed there, his odds in the UFC aren't the best...

I'm actually excited for the PPV this weekend... BJ and Spider Silva on the same card should result in some decent fights.
