SPOILER (sort of)

I hate koscheck so much. They dont give him too many great fighters for a reason. He's good, but not great, but what Daley did was inexcusable and childish. Though, so was Koscheck saying that Daley Kneed him in the head when he clearly did not

Pardon my french, but that's bullshit. I hate Kos. Hate him with a passion. You know how people look like they stink? He looks like he hasn't showered in years. Anyway, Daley threw that knee. Land or not, he threw it. Have you ever gotten a knee to the face? Even a glancing blow can make the beast with two backs you up.

Anyway, Daley is a douche and Dany already said he's never going to fight in the UFC again. Also add Kimbo to that list. Machida did not fight his fight. He's a counter striker and his patience was definitely his strength. I think the talk from those that said Shogun won the first fight got to him.

I agree with you 100%  It was an illegal shot, it was his bad for even giving Kos the opportunity to fake it or not.  People keep raggin on Koscheck for faking it, but that one point is huge, especially if you are going to wrestle the dude and lay on him for 3 rounds.

I don't know why they gave the point back though?  Even if the ref saw it on the big screen replay, they never restart a fight when the ref makes a mistake thinking a guy taps when he really doesn't.  And the whole "Im gonna stand you up if you dont work" when Kos had his back?

Hey, some refs are better than others, but that's part of the fight. If anyone has their opponents back, they should be allowed to work. Now if the guy is just basically spooning him (just laying there hugging the guy) then that different. If he's actively looking for the choke or simply striking, that's enough to keep them there. Of course, I'm no ref and even less a ref in the guy's the getting his ass kicked home.

Daley is the type of fighter that help MMA opponents. They will take this footage and go to town. Some guys will never like each other and they might not shake hands or even respect each other afterwards. I've seen some guys continue to yell across the octagon even after the fight, but never this BS.

Big Fight this weekend   Grin

Fedor losing means Carwin or Lesnar will be the top heavyweight in the world.  Finally Fedor loses which makes me very happy.

Obviously my guy is Lesnar and I do believe he is the more talented fighter but I am really iffy on who is going to win this.  I'm afraid we don't know how good his chin is and Carwin hits like a fire truck. Also afraid that Lesnar may cut easily but who knows.  I do think that they will stand up and bang until someone gets tagged and then it will become a wrestling match which Lesnar's speed and strength will give him the advantage.  Interesting to note that Lesnar says he is already at 265 and will not have to cut which I think is a disadvantage for him since he was typically getting in the ring around 280.  On the flip side, his doctor was quoted saying that because of his health issues, Lesnar had only been at 60% which is scary for Carwin.

I say Lesnar wins but he could easily get knocked out in the first. Either way this is going to be a war because these guys will not run around a la the Spider.

By the way, the lead in show for this one is great  waytogo

Like every Carwin fight, I assume the other guy will win and then I'm shocked when Carwin knocks him out. I also think Lesnar should win this one. Too fast, too big. On paper Lesnar should completely dominate, but they don't fight on paper. I say Lesnar by "Hulk pound!!!!" second round. And then Lesnar by "Hulk say stupid thing to insult fans and piss on UFC!!!!!" in interview.

Dunno... I'll think I'll take the "I'm humble now that I have a new lease on life, so I'm gonna give a boring tear-jerker interview" side of that action.  Thanking doctors, training partners, and Yahweh add nauseum FTW.

///I'm actually interested in all five of the main card fights... I remember the last time that was the case.  Kudos, UFC, now let's deliver on all that potential this Saturday night...

Well you win!  Lesnar really weathered the Carwin storm and came through with an amazing choke that Carwin had no idea was coming.  Watching it live I thought the fight could/should have been stopped in the first but we rewatched it twice and Lesnar was fighting back and moving for most of it.  Carwin punched himself out.  Who else in the world could take that many punches from Carwin and come out in  the second round and take him out.  Carwin thought the ground and pound was coming and Lesnar caught him totally off guard with that choke.  If Lesnar is going to have a slick submission game like that I don't see him losing anytime soon.

The Leben/Akiyama fight was amazing as was the whole card really. One of the best PPV's I've seen.

Sorry dude,

I actually almost missed this PPV.  I had Mongolian BBQ and must have got some bad duck because by 8:30 I was dying in pain and shooting out of both ends.  Ended up having to watch it Sunday afternoon.

Stupid Mongolians!
