What about this weekend's fights?

I'm really looking forward to Dunham/Guillard. Dunham got robbed last time and he ought to come out like a man on a mission.

I'm the first to admit that i'm so firmly attached to Anderson's balls it's actually kinda embarassing. But, damn, I can't wait to see him fight Vitor. This fight has been cancelled so many times...
I'm man enough to own up to being trapped in orbit around Anderson's scrotum as well.  I'd probably pay to watch him round-kick puppies over a fence at this point.  It's a hideous thought, but somehow the idea of his magnificent weight transfer at impact makes it all ok.

Well, except that part about the gravitational pull of his balls.  That'll never be "ok", but I'm through fighting it.

So i know that eventually calcium deposits will form and I won't feel it (or convince myself that I dont feel it) but GODDAMN checking legkicks hurst like a pregnant dog.

I really have to will myself to go to wrestling tonight, already had BJJ in the morning and I make the beast with two backsing hate being laid on by some sweaty douchebag that only gets the takedown because he outweighs me by 60 pounds. I guess this is what Lesnar's opponents feel.

Having practiced some sort of karate all my life, the hardest thing for me has become forgetting everything I know about defense and avoiding and just letting a guy puch my arms, seems counterproductive. Defensive posturing seems somewhat idiotic to me, but since it's just about the one thing that both KB and MT agree upon, there must be something to it.

Any tips?

Take a rolling pin to those legs. You'll be surprised how uncomfortable it is, but it numbs the legs. I take issue with KB's necessity to kick using the back leg. It has more power, but you're telegraphing that kick. There's something to be said about lead leg kicks.

Anyway, I also dislike the wrestling aspect since there's no one my size. I'm at a point that I'm planning on switching to Krav since I'm never going to compete and at this point self defense is more important to me.

Man..I HOPE your Chritmas was better than that cuz that was sh*t!

Did Vitor retire after that kick to the face?

The German fighter put on the best round of the night with all those moves he did in the first.  I don't know what happened after that round though?!

YEEEEEEEEEEES!!! Epic push kick FTW!!!!  God that was awesome. I dont care about any. Of the other fights, Silva showed  once again why he is the GOAT.

All the haters can suck it.  Tongue

Still not a big fan of Silva due to the typical first round of no action he puts on.
Well, except for his juking and flailing arms.
That kick is still making me laugh though!   laughingdp   applause

It's not UFC but did anyone see the Strikeforce tournament  last night? Fedor lost to Silva! It was crazy. It was very similar to this:

I just started watching last week. Good time to start too. Couple good fights at the end of last night!  He took a massive pumeling. I actually thought he Fedor was going to make it out of that mount but it wasn't meant to be.

Strikeforce showing their inexperience. UFC DR's would likely have let Fedor fight if he wanted to. He did get the crap kicked out fo him though. He should have made the switch to UFC when he had the chance.

Strikeforce had nothing to do with stopping the fight, even though  agree it was premature. refs and judges are contracted out from the nsac or csac, and the Dr are usually personal, in this case contracted by M1
