Replace plug wires with...?

Let the winter improvements begin!  I'd like to replace the plug wires and boots on my M800.  There have been a few posts here and you-know-where about this, and it seems that some controversy exists.  Should I just go down to the local speed shop and pick up some yellow or blue or orange super-duper wire and call it good?  I'd sure appreciate any FHE and smart-guy insights.  Thanks.

How about these from our sponsor Chris Kelley?

Also make sure the wires separate from the coils, this was an issue on some of the old carbies.

Thanks for the link, but the M800 is an FI motor.  I know Chris says that the wires don't separate from the gray coils, but a how-to on wire replacement on TOB (http://www.ducatimonster.org/forums/tech/135017-2v-air-cooled-monster-ignition-spark-plug-wire-upgrade.html#msg669284) showed them screwing on to a threaded post inside the coil of a 2002 M750ie.  I haven't checked this yet on my M800, took it on faith.

I bought a set of these from TPO parts, and have been very happy with them so far.

That's on a S2R 800 (07)

I have an '03 M800.  I got some ignition wire at the local Napa and screwed it into the existing caps and coils.  It's silicone rubber so it's more pliable than the original.  Only cost a few dollars.
