bought my bike a month ago as an all rounder and figured it would work well for sport touring with soft bags since it has low pipes...worked great on a weekend trip with a fair amount of gear and plan to do some more ambitious trips...also FWIW another rider suggested using a dry bag for camping gear, that worked out really well and made strapping all my stuff to the bike much easier.

Big ups to you, dude. That looks awesome! Should we be expecting a write-up on the trip?  waytogo waytogo

Thanks!...I only took a few photos, just a short trip up to Mt. Lassen and back, but the bike ran well up at 8000 ft. (aside from a few minor backfires) and had plenty of power to keep up w/ other riders
