I figured whatever happens this winter I don't want to ride the very first day it rains. Way too much oil and garbage coming off the road.
I figured the further along we got, the more accurate the report would be. I was wrong. They are still just using voodoo.

It's definitely slick. It was drizzling in one part of SOMA this evening and I just barely touched the brakes and slid a little. I was riding down the center of the lane (shouldda known better) and probably caught some of the road goo deposited there. I tippy-toed around town after that and of course had to cross about 50 train tracks.

Hopefully the overnight rain will have washed some of the goo away.

My favorite this morning in the rain some jerk-off is behind me flashing his lights for me to move out of his way (I was in my work truck) as if there weren't a million other cars in front or me. He passed on the right weaving between cars/lanes. Then about 5mins later I leisurely pass him with the flow of traffic and he is just putting along in the #2 lane... I just glanced at him with a WTF?! look and gave him a head shake of disappointment. I just can't understand some people.

Me too. If the weather works to our advantage we may have some great riding this weekend. Cool, crisp, clean air, great views from summits, light traffic. I can't wait.

What is it with people in cages in the rain? I had two cars riding my back fender this morning on city streets...I was on the FZ1, tooling along in the heavy rain. And these f-tards would drive right up on my 6 and sit there for a block or two.

Man, WTF? This rain doesn't *seem* that bad, but everything is flooding, they're shutting down street and folks are acting like they'll melt if they get wet. What's the deal? Just seems like a storm.

He's gonna need more than just some water for that. When it starts raining oceans of bleach or hydrocloric acid, I'll know Armageddon is nigh.
