Driving people from the DMV

So it's time for me to renew the bikes plates - and wow VA DMV is really working to get people online.

Previously they offered a $1 discount if you re-up online. Now, there's an additional $5 charge if you do it in person.

Is MD or DC doing anything like this?
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

nope...not in MD....at least, not a discount anyway.

In DC, as of July 2009, for most situations they are no longer allowing you to renew your registration in person (i.e., you must handle renewals online).
