I love Big's logo, but we need something smaller that people can see on patches/stickers, etc.

Well, in that case, something fairly simple in shape and recognizable as part of a Monster or logo, for instance, is probably best. Sticking with a few colors tends to make things easier when it comes to reproduction and visibility.
I'll post up some examples of ideas that might help us get started in the morning...and there's nothing to say that we couldn't have an image that works on a shirt and then something smaller for pins and stickers.

I'm posting these for ideas...I think they're all successful because they're simple, bold concepts that are fairly self contained. Straightforward geometry, bright colors and a unifying image are key here. I'm drawing up an idea of Enzo's and we'll post shortly. You don't have to be polite about critique but try to explain why you do or don't like something. It's harder than it sounds... Back in a few.
