Your link isn't working for me, but I assume you mean this? http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/10/15/colorado.boy.balloon/index.htmlCraziness. Shoulda kept that balloon in a shed, or something. On the other hand, when the kid gets older this is going to be the Best Story Ever.

Well, from what I heard the balloon's door was closed, and would have been open if he'd fell out. Now they just need to find the kid.

Lots of police out in Boulder late this morning...more than the norm. All I can assume is that they too were looking for the balloon and the boy. (Unless they were dealing with another Boulder Creek "resident" issue.) "The structure at the bottom of the balloon that the boy is in is made of extremely thin plywood and won't withstand any kind of a crash at all..." It makes me sick to my stomach for the boy and his family. http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/21306839/detail.html

But still no kid. Feel sorry for the family but I think I would have secured the balloon a little better and/or kept a better eye on the boy.

Gawd I hope he's hiding. For the benefit of knowing he's ok.
Big deal if he and his brother decided to ditch the hot-pocket breakfast and go play outside by dad's new balloon before school.
I swear I could never be a parent. I get anxiety over my nieces and nephews a thousand miles away. Can't imagine the parental anxiety.
