A Most Magnificent Monster

« on: October 16, 2009, 07:27:26 AM »

Saw this bike on another post.  Absolutely gorgeous (except for the naff "Ducati Corse" shield on the tank...OTT for me).

I really like the headlight/screen combo.  Anyone know who makes this and where to buy?  Mirrors are shar too...Rizoma?

That headlight unit kinda looks like the one off of the KTM 690 Duke.

All in fun though...each to our own right?

those are definitely not rizoma dynamic (stock, unless rizoma offers different stalk options), possibly modified dynamics?

the stalks on dynamics are straight, the mirrors are more round (those look more square) and the backs are smooth. the backs of those mirrors look like they have something going on there, but its hard to see in the small pic

Heh, no kidding.

Road Racing parts are very cool, if you can still find them.

Although, you probably could graft the headlight setup from a 690 Duke onto a Monster...

Simon's bike also had that custom, narrower radiator.  Yum!

The bike has many tasty bits...

but he really should do a color consult with someone.

the trick license plate mount is pretty sick too.
