If oil is speeping all around the slave. and the lever keeps compressing it self. Is it safe to say the slave is blown?

Oil? Definitely, probably, pull the slave and check the back.  Should be pretty obvious.

i would but i already stripped the bolts. id just buy one and and install it when i get the bolts loose.

Sounds like it's done man. It's probably not oil, but your fluid - is your reservoir draining out too?

If you pull the lever, does teh clutch disengage? If you left the lever strapped to the bar, would the clutch slowly engage
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

If it's the clutch slave, it's brake fluid, not oil. It's also really bad for paint for make sure you clean it up as soon as you notice it. I'm pretty sure it's bunged. Yoyodynes have a life time warranty and if they happen to fail due to a non-slave related issue (like drilling) you get 50% off the replacement.

Oh, and DO NOT try to limp around town with it like that. It'll get you in trouble really fast.

i wish i could do a taste test. I just looked at my left boot. looks like clutch fluid. on my bike, with the grime it looks like oil... ill investigate further to make sure its fluid.

Anyone know the bolts for the slave so i can pre order them?

My resovoir is pretty low.

On a side note, does anyone know where i can get the mounting brackets for the pee cup? Like the fake bremebo branded ones on ebay (except i cant find them) my clutch one got all bent up when i went for a ride through the air.

Mmmm... If it's your slave is going and it's bad enough to dump fluid all over your boot you should be able to see fluid coming out if you squeeze the clutch lever (assuming that there is still any fluid in the system. If the slave is off the bike, use a C clamp to hold the piston and then pump the lever. If it's bad you'll get brake fluid coming out. If it's good, the lever will stiffen up like a rock. Also, if it's that bad already, it should go totally kaput really soon if it isn't already.

The most likely ways I can think of to get oil on your boot from that area are a bad seal behind the front sprocket or chain jump taking a chunk out of your engine case by the front sprocket. Or maybe you had the cover off recently and didn't get a good seal. Those are the only ones i can think of.

Ill drill out the bolts and try to get it out and check it. theres been "oil/clutch fluid" there for several months now.

he man, i have a couple extra stock slaves. i'd toss one your way for ten bucks plus like 5 shipping if you wanted a cheap solution. just a thought. ive had good luck with my evoluzione too, nicer than yoyodone imho, but to each his own.  [thumbsup]

i had an older style evo unit. it was pretty good.

part of the reason i think it failed might of been the fact that it gets used a lot since i do a lot of city commuting. Thanks for the offer, but i think now is a good reason to upgrade!

Snapped some pics of the inside of the slave. Its defintely leaking. you can see the leaking oring.

let me know if you guys an see this...here you can see that the oring is normal

and swollen here

That's not the o-ring that seals the fluid.

Which one is then? theres fluid seeping out from it.

Were talking about the inside one right? not the orange one...

I thought you were talking the orange one.

I can't see the one on the piston.

yea the one inside the piston was very hard to get a pic of. If i could find a way to make a GIFF file it would be cool. the o ring inside is flush with the bore and when you pull on the lever one side bulges out and fluid seeps out. you have to look at the two photos closely to notice it.
