Big Troubled Bear

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

It looked good until I saw the big clunky radiator.

CETME

It sure is pretty. Wonder how sturdy the engines are

Count Desmo

The exhaust and radiator are a bit chunky.  Other than that it's looks pretty sweet! [thumbsup]

I'm not a fan (no pun intended) of the big radiator either but it's not any worse than an S4R.

Now that's a Monster rip off I can tolerate!  Oh get over the big radiator thing. If you owned one you wouldn't even notice it after the first 30 minutes or riding.  Speaking from personal experience, of course.

I'm not so sure i agree with that statement. DNA was kind enough to lend me their S4Rs last year for night after the demo day at Wagner's. I rode the thing all night and every time I stopped and looked at it all I could see was that radiator. It just ruines the lines of the bike IMO.

they are targeting for entry in either 2009 or 2010.  you can email them from their website and ask.

Morini is based in Bologna, down the road from Ducati.  They restarted production after 7-10 (?) years out of business after Cagiva bought, then wound them down, then allowed some of the Morini family to buy the name back.

No wonder they changed from a 72 deg twin to a 90 deg and adopted the trellis frame.

Plenty of plagiarism there, but it is an awfully nice bike, no doubt.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

120 HP out of a 1200?  Only 60 HP behind the Duc.  Still, a nice looking clone though.

The rad on an s4r looks about the same if not bigger then the morini

Good looking bike, best dual headlights I've seen yet.

The exhaust can be replaced. Where's the aircooled version?

The Morini bikes look great to me and I for one don't even notice the radiator. It's a form follows function thing to me I guess and the rad on a Ducati  looks like metal art to me.

Power is a little low considering that a Ducati with 1200 cc based on the 40 mm intake heads of the s4r/rs should put out something approaching 145 RWHP at something like .120 - .130 hp per cc. depending on as delivered vs. termi kitted bikes.
