Just a quick question, what happens when you need to take these things off? The rubber part would wear just like any other grip, correct?
you can buy replacement rubber "grips" for the aluminum sleeve. They're relatively cheap.
I was thinking about taking a socket or some kind of seal driver and seeing if I could separate the grip and throttle tube and maybe epoxy them back together,and add a set screw to it like the clutch side or something like that. Has anyone had this problem?
I had trouble with teh cams on mine, so rather than continually messing with it, I separated the plastic throttle tube from the aluminum sleeve with a long, thin screwdriver, and then I glued the Rizoma sleeve onto the Ducati throttle -- I had to sand down the throttle then I pounded it in and used Gorilla glue -- that was last year (at least) with no slippage...
