hey guys i was intrested in this off ebay,the guy said i need to buy ducati brackets to fit it?do they look good,is there any other way to turn the duke into a kinda single seater with a cowl?

The brackets in question are not visible when the seat is mounted on the bike. They basically mount the cowl to the seat (2 bolts + 1 thumbscrew each).

has any1 got a pic of the brackets? are the cowls a nice fit?

Here's a picture of the brackets. You can't see them when they're mounted on the bike.
You can order them from Monsterparts.com (where this picture is from)

I would also be weary of buying carbon fiber parts from an unknown vendor. Haven't heard of the one from the eBay link. The quality and fitment might not be up to par. Just a thought.

getting ready to order a cowl, from monsterparts. any one have a pic of it installed? and do how similar is the carbon pattern to that already on the S4? thanks in advance!

There is another way, DP made a conversion seat tail with a carbon back end that did away with the passenger section.  It was in the neighborhood of $800 or so dollars IIRC...you might be able to find one used.

Too bad none of us ever got of our asses and made those heavy ass brackets out of ... carbon. There's no need for steel.
