Delaying tickets

How long should I delay tickets for? I delayed two of them for the first time till April 2010, and I have on thats already been delayed that i need to show up in November. It seems like the system is backed up so much that i got almost a 5 month delay from my recent 2ticket vs only 3 month delay for my ticket back in June.

I think you get 3 chances, but you can only delay once online. the other two are in person at the TVB

You have to show up for future postponements.  The court can ask for a bond and probably will on the second postponement.  Postpone as long as you can.

They say i might have to post a $40 bond per ticket. I get it all back as long as I show up in court on my day right? Regardless if delay or not?

Im hoping to delay this until next summer when the city is back on ticket nazi mode so the cops are too lazy to show up in court.

by lazy to show up, i mean too many tickets to show up for at once to be able to show up for all of them.
