Arrow dB-Killer (baffle) question

2007 S2R 1000 with full arrow titanium system + fatduc.  Too quiet with the baffles in, too loud with the baffles out.  I've been running the bike with the upper baffle in and the lower baffle out for 2 hours riding time.  The sound level is ideal and it seems to be running problem free.  Unless there are any engine experts out there that know a good reason why I shouldn't be doing this, I'd like to keep running it this way.

I guess my concern is that with the full system, the exhaust gas from each cylinder isn't combined in the collecting udder.  The pipe routing from each cylinder is different, so obviously there is a different pressure drop for each cylinder.  I'm just wondering if leaving a baffle in will have a significant impact on that cylinder's performance.

there's still the cross-over.  mean pressure there and at the exhaust valves should be
the same for both cylinders (unless some other up-stream factor is involved).

I was wondering myself if that was a cross over right before the cans.  To me it looks like the pipes have been welded together but are still sealed from one another.

Not mine, but this is the system in question.

That system has a crossover where the pipes are welded together.

As an alternative to what you're doing, you could just start to add holes on both dB killers until you like the sound.
Can't definitively say it'd be better than what you've got, but that's how I'd do it.
