I binned it today.  I lowsided on a sharp lefthanded curve going at a speed of maybe 30 to 35 mph. Fortunately I was wearing full gear...I can only imagine what the hot Houston weather would feel like with asphalt burns.  Got the bike home and finished my 3 mile run so the only that is damage is to my wallet. I'm not sure what happened but I think got a little greedy with throttle - the asphalt was clean so it wasn't shitty road conditions.
Hi-ho-hi-ho....its off to the track I go.................

MurDuc

Glad to hear there was no damage to the important thing. You.

Sorry to hear about the bike. Opportunity for upgrades?

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

Two things to keep in mind.

1) If it turns up on the first page of "Unread" its fair game. I'm usually too lazy to read or care what forum section its in.

2) This seemed like a more appropriate place to comment than the Crash Analysis thread.

If it had been a post about a BBQ at someone's house or a group ride or something I'd have never even bothered looking. As it is, I'm always happy to trample fences to tell fellow riders that I'm glad they're okay or to wish them a speedy recovery. I'll wander far and wide for that.

2) Welcome, to our little corner of the world.  ;)

Don't know you, so this was a great opportunity for you to introduce yourself. You've made a definite impression here.  [wine]

rob, do you need any help with anything? please let us know if you need parts and/or help putting the bike back together, collectively, the local folks could probably get your bike back pretty quickly on the cheap or free  [thumbsup]
