Does anyone have a preference for breakfast?

Here are the choices:
1) No breakfast
2) IHOP
3) Waffle House

Michael - Not sure if I'm going to make this one, but those are some of my favorite roads...  Do you have a start time in mind?  I would highly recommend heading straight to Globe, early, and on up to SRC before breakfast.  This get's you out ahead of lots of traffic and cops.  What we usually do is eat in Globe on the return trip.  Heading back through winkleman/kearny/Superior loop sounds fun.

Michael - I'm definitely going to make this one ....

That's a good idea to get to the Salt River Canyon early.

So the route is now like this:
-
-

And is anyone opposed to skipping breakfast, at least until Globe?

Start time ... that's a good question.

Here are my thoughts -- The sun rises at 7:05am that day. Which, while driving directly east, will be painful with the sun right on the horizon.

So, if we met at 6:00am and left soon after that, we'd probably get to Superior by the time the sun came up, and our route would turn northeast through the mountains by then.

Is anyone opposed to meeting at 6:00am?

I'll try my best to make 6am (or soon after, but well before 7am).
However that means leaving my place soon after 5am.
The reality of which will take a few day's to sink in

Michael, to avoid being the next rear tire "cord" showing group rider, I have purchased a new rear tire scheduled to install Sat. morning, therefore I am unable to join you all on the SRC/ Winkleman ride  Sad. The Salt river Canyon route is also one of my favs. You should do a few laps on the twisties up in the canyon!

Aside from the many people that I've spoken to personally, who is confirmed going?

UPDATE:

I don't think I'll be able to make my own ride.  Roll Eyes

I still haven't put my spring back in, and my bike is in my garage in pieces.

I meant to put it back together tonight, but then I got busy doing other things ... yadda, yadda, yadda ....

Well ... maybe a different kind of shame than the image below, but a shame nonetheless.  Undecided
