My bike had a low speed tip after a fellow unit dweller reversed into it, thankfully very little damage due to the oggy knobs. I have taken them off just to inspect the engine mount rod and check it wasn't bent etc but have noticed it is corroded. Should I be worried about my frame corroding? Should I get a new rod or can I buff this one off, grease it perhaps to inhibit any further corrosion and put it back in? Should I have greased it in the first place?

Oggy knobs ;D  New to me, but a cool name.  It is a good idea to make sure the rod isn't bent.  As long as it is straight, lube it and stick it back in.  Wait, that doesn't sound right.  Grease the part and reinstall it.

I thought it was a  slang term, but google revealed it is a brand.
