Took me a moment, my first thought was 'What idiot put a shelter for corner workers in the middle of the run out area'

There's a race where somebody did hit a sign on the track, it didn't slow him down or anything, just confetti going everywhere.

I thought the same thing. Crawling into my brain..."What the hell track is that..oh wait".
I like the ad though.

Mmmmmm . . . hysterical teenage girls . . . yummy.
Oh, wrong topic. Sorry 'bout that.
The vid's really cool, but I had pretty the same reaction as the rest of ya --WHO THE F' PUT A TELEPHONE BOOTH IN THE RUNOFF?!? It also reminded me how often and how hard racers throw themselves down on the pavement. It's amazing that any of them have functioning limbs any longer.

Well done! Wish we could get that kind of PSA to run here in the States.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

of course, that doesnt take into account the time Yanagowa (i think) slid into the tree at the top of the corkscrew, or Mladin coming over a blind hill with an ambulance on the track

...or the DMG 'safety' car.

well, in yanagawa's defense, the didn't exactly do that on his own. he got hit by a dc10:
WSBK 1998 Laguna Seca - Race 1 - Akira Yanagawa Crash
(iirc, he didn't hit the tree, but said tree
was
removed to create more runoff)
needless to say, '98 wasn't a good year for yanagawa:
WSBK 1998 Monza - Race 1 - Akira Yanagawa Crash + Fire
