I'm in town this week visiting family and I know that in the DC area we have weekly get-togethers.  Is there any desmo or Italian bike night going on in Austin this week?

Actually it's dudette. Wink

And yeah, what he said. Dallas/Ft Worth, Austin, Houston, San Antonio etc. are meeting up for riding this weekend. Although many of the bikes will be on trailers while these hooligans tear it up in Austin on Thursday night.

All the riding will be out in the hill country near Kerrville this weekend. We all head out there Friday.

Hahaha... don't feel bad.  For some odd reason, there are plenty of people who kind of forget that a chick is around.  I've been called a dude more than once.

Just let me know when/where and I'll pencil it into my week.

Tonight is typically Euro-bike night at Ming's.  Thursday night is sportbike night at Antonios off IH-35 near 183 and on the other side of the freeway (East side) is the cruiser/custom crowd at Bikini's Bar & Grill.  I don't go to either of them but I'm pretty sure they are still going on in full force.  Lovejoy's is a euro-moto friendly bar off of 6th street on Neches.  Always bikes there no special occasion except for MotoGP Sunday's when they bring in a project to watch the races.  I don't go out much but I'll make it over to Opal Devines, South Congress near 71, for bike night which is mostly Buells but some days, the Ducati's out number them.  We get the parking lot to ourselves and they serve food and have a full bar.  Not too loud and it's close to my house.

Let me know where everyone plans on meeting Thursday night and I'd like to join you.

I think it will also be at Ming's as most of the Dallas crew is in cahoots with Fai (the BMW-riding proprietor)
