Low fuel level sensor compatibility

Need a replacement and looking on ebay. was wondering which other model/year ducatis will match my 2001 Monster 900. Its fuel injected. Thanks, Ben

Only FI monsters from 2000 on that have a steel tank will be interchangable ( I believe till 2005 or 2006).

Realize that the most recent/new parts have aluminum nut and a better sensor that fails less often. IMO it's worth it just to buy this new (kinda like brake rotors). But again it's only my 2cents.

The part # is the same for '00 and '01, then changes from '02 through the remainder of metal tanks.  I don't know what the difference is, or if it will work, but '02 and later get the 5.9 computer.
