What's the best way to accomplish this? I've seen some Yammie OEM caps which I think are the same, is it easy to transfer the lock?

Very nice ride angler! I concur with the suggestion to black out the passenger pegs... or untape the forks to complement them and the pipes.  Grin
The gold gas cap does come back in the fork sliders though... but since you're getting rid of the gold...

I agree about the gas cap.  I plan to get a black annodized (maybe red???) quick release one.  I have secure parking at the house and I'm not worried about gas theft in town.  If they feel like taking something in DC, its the whole bike.

The passenger pegs are off.  My GF likes to ride occasionally, but they are easy to take on and off. I will like take them to my powder guy or just rattle can them eventually.

I did use a factory triple, although one off a different bike than the S2R800.  My old triple is the type with the integrated rise built in whereas this triple used the separate risers for the bars.  I did have it machined by Hooligan Machinist here on the board.  I tried to get someone to machine it locally and either got no interest or incredibly high cost. 

I plan on mounting a plate on the top to accept a steering damper in the future.

I love the forks and clips.  I haven't had a chance to really flog it, but it seems much more planted.  It also turns in quicker and more intuitively.  I still want to play with the adjustment on the clips.  I think I am going to lower them a bit and bring the sweep up.  The good thing about cycle cat clips is pretty much infinite adjustability.

if you have a garage and then dont have to worry about gas cap being open and messed around by others,
simply just replace the filler cap with some aftermarkets one,
I have the Oberon cap black base and red center. it looks really nice.

I love the forks and clips.  

A bump to reiterate - best mod I've done yet.  The front seems SO much more planted.  Flogged it on Ross Drive as hard as the wet leaf covered pavement would let me yesterday and I can't get over how much I love this bike......

I flea-bayed them like a year ago. They were a mess, but were cheap and cleaned up well.  I had them p/c'ed semi gloss black.  I also order an 80's Ducati decal set and put one in the recess on the covers.

They didn't have to be modified, but the don't fit "exactly"  The horizontal idler pulley bump out on the covers is slightly smaller than the lands on the jugs (if that makes any sense).  That is you can see parts of the jugs that used to be covered by the plastic belt covers.  Not something you notice at all.  It does not interfere with the operation of the idler.  You also need to replace the two front most bolts on the horizontal side with much longer bolts.

That is so awesome - there is now penis and jugs in the same thread  Evil

here's an easy one for you. Undue the starter cable. Reroute through frame so it comes out the other side of the motor and isn't across the belt cover. if you don't have enough free play, mcmaster carr yourself some extra length.

Good idea.  I moved the oil line and now that starter wire sticks out like a sore thumb.

did both of mine just recently. Now, that little oil pressure sensor wire annoys me. It annoys me further after seeing Kopfjager's remedy.

there are two options regular loud and louder loud, Mark will be able to let you know whether it can be made to work with double sided swingarm bikes, and at what cost.

I've heard McKraut's. They sound fantastic.
