I love my boomtubes.  I started with the loudest baffles and they were too much for me.  Ear plugs were a must for any riding.  Mark graciously sent me the quieter baffles and they work.  Loud, but about the same as termi's without the db killers.  I can now ride without ear plugs for short rides.  I have opened my airbox and the airbox honk is louder than the pipes most of the time.

I am running the stock ECU with an open airbox and it runs great and within spec.  I could probably get a bit more performance out of it with a remap, which I think I will do once I put pods on it.  If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

here's an easy one for you. Undue the starter cable. Reroute through frame so it comes out the other side of the motor and isn't across the belt cover. if you don't have enough free play, mcmaster carr yourself some extra length.

Is this possible to do with the stock starter wire or is a longer one required?  Where does it get routed?

I just turned the wire at the solenoid (loosen nut, turn wire to face other direction and retighten) and ran it around other side of motor, down around the horiz. cylinder, and across the starter. Well hidden by my belly pan, should be pretty out of the way on bikes w/out the bellypan.

I've got upgraded powerlet wires, but not much different in length from stock. You can always grab yourself some high-temp 8ga for cheap if need be though.
