i was quoted 55$ to swap the front tire on my m750 wheel w/balance ,not too mount the rim on the bike. is this a high price?

I was about to be charged $50 to mount/balance a tire on a front wheel off the bike. It's $55 if you roll the bike in. I complained that that was ridiculous and the guy gave it to me for $40.... Then later that day I found a smaller shop that does off-bike tire swaps for $30. Go figure.

i do it myself with 2 tire irons. FREE. you just need to figure out a way to break the bead and your set. |

Yep...but it's pretty standard for shops. If you didn't buy the tire from them they need to make some money off the deal somehow. |
